We're seeking a quality engineer to join our client's team in Skellefteå. Take the chance to become a part of one of Europe's most exciting and modern workplaces, where you will be part of the production of the green technology of the future.

Working as a production quality engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our new products and processes. Working closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams, you'll be instrumental in improving processes to guarantee a seamless transition into manufacturing and supplying their product.

To excel in this role we’re looking for someone who is social and outgoing, that can communicate in english with ease. Preferably you’ve got a positive outlook and enjoy problem solving. 

Please note that this is a consultant position, and you’ll be employed by Randstad.

Our client's production runs around the clock, so the role will require shift work.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• leading quality assurance activities in production, to make sure that production and product quality specifications are met
• problem-solving and root cause analysis activities 
• collaboration with different departments and stakeholders
• monitor processes and ensure closing of actions in defined time.

• update and monitor the Quality Control plans for each process operation
• monitor quality procedures, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals
• develops, implements and audits standard instructions.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc degree in Chemical/Manufacturing/Engineering.
• a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience 
• experience in manufacturing quality in a relevant industry
• knowledgeable in 8D reports
• customer experience
• fluent english speaking and writing

if you also have experience in SPC, process capability, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma, and statistics, it is meritorious
