About the Role

We are now looking for a System Specialist with more than 5 years experience for one of our very important clients. As a System Specialist, you will be part of a skilled team of specialists that solve some of the most challenging optimization problems in the world, value diversity and learn from each other.

The work will be performed within a cross-functional team. This role will require cooperation with other teams, collaboration with customers as well as the ability to work independently when the need arises.

Good Interpersonal skills, high confidence and good communication skills for managing stakeholders is required for this role.

Responsibilities

· Ability to work with clients as well as stakeholders and build good long-term customer relations.

· Great expertise in software development with Python (and other programming languages) and user experience whilst showing strong communication and cooperation skills.

· Interest and expertise in solving problems and being solution oriented is highly valuable in the role.

· You must be passionate about learning about our clients business and that you see yourself contributing in teamwork, workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering and implementation process.

· Ability to identify enhancements of the current installation of the clients tool.

· Work closely with customer to ensure that they are using tools in the best possible way, including assisted planning and coaching.

Necessary qualifications

• Ability to speak and write English fluently

Preferred qualifications:

• MSc or BSc in Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent Programming experience.

• Great proven experience with Python, Shell scripting.

• Experience working within an agile team.

• Experience from facing end users and customers in order to enable configuration of software.

• Ability to speak additional languages fluently.

Additional qualifications

· Problem solving skills with programming.

· Experience from working with end users and customers with advanced implementation / configuration of standard software.

· Ability to relate well and work well in a team.
