Do you have a solid background as a software developer within life science? Moleculent is now hiring an experienced software developer. You will be involved in SW development from early development to launching a first-class product for life science analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION You will join our software team, currently composed of four talented individuals. As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass:- Provide technical guidance in designing and developing Moleculent software, including hardware control and analysis SW.

- Be responsible for planning and executing software development projects.- Work actively on the code baseYou will interact internally with other teams and externally with customers.QUALIFICATIONS To fit the role, you have a MSc or PhD.

Most likely in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar. Fluent written and spoken English and excellent communication skills is a requirement.You have extensive experience in successful SW product development and embedded systems development, preferably within Life Sciences.

You have broad and up-to-date programming skills, preferably in Python within a Linux environment, but you are technology-stack agnostic and willing to learn what it takes to excel in the environment at hand.

You are skilled in project management of SW projects with technical dependencies and are well versed in agile methodology and are experienced in running both planning meetings and retrospectives. You are focused on product quality and are no stranger to requirements breakdown, setting up code reviews, and automated testing approaches.

Optionally, you are also skilled in DevOps and setting up CI/CD pipelines.As a person, you are communicative and collaborative, and you enjoy working in a goal-oriented environment and on projects with cross-functional teams.

You have a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and have a sense of urgency and have the tools to create and maintain a culture of innovation and excellence.It is important that you have strong teamwork skills and an analytical and pragmatic approach.
