Getting an idea of the role

Joining our Risk department means becoming a key player in independently assessing and analyzing the Bank's risks and risk management practices.

Reporting directly to the Head of Risk Control, you'll work in the second line toidentify emerging risks, execute audits outlined by the board, and diligently monitor risk levels. Beyond that, you'll have the exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of innovative risk metrics, strategies, and management protocols.

What will you do?

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring reported risks
  • Tracking agreed risk appetites/limits, risk indicators, and other risk metrics
  • Evaluation of internal controls and processes.

  • Recommending changes to governance documents and processes based on noted observations.
  • Performing audits, controls, and sample testing as per the established annual plan
  • Compiling and presenting quarterly reports
  • Staying updated on regulatory changes impacting risk management and internal control

Requirements

We are looking to strengthen our Risk department with multiple Risk Officers so we see that you have experience in one of these areas;credit, operational risks, capital coverage/finance or IT/Info Security.

We also believe that you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, finance or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience within Risk Management in the financial sector, alternatively as an internal auditor.

  • English and Swedish skills at a business proficient level
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to risk management
