Promimic is a world leader in new disruptive technologies for nano surface modification of implants, greatly improving osseointegration. Our 20 nanometer thin surface treatment, HAnano Surface, is commercially successful on the markets for orthopedic and dental implants.

Promimic has its roots from cutting-edge research at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. The technology has been shown to improve osseointegration in over 30 scientific studies and is in clinical use on over 1,500,000 implants.

Promimic has offices in Mölndal, Sweden, and Austin, Texas, USA.

Our headquarters is located in GoCo Health Innovation City in Mölndal, easily accessible by car, bike or bus from Gothenburg.

The successful candidate will plan and execute development projects together with other members of our technical team and the client.

A significant portion of the role involves working in the lab on the development of Promimic’s techniques for modifying dental and orthopedic implants, as well as analysis work using SEM/EDX and other surface analysis methods.

The tasks also include written and oral reporting of projects to clients via digital meeting tools or at physical meetings.

Required Skills

• A Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology or similar
• Good laboratory practice
• Experience working with surface analysis techniques such as SEM, EDX, and XPS
• Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Permit to work in Sweden

Preferred Skills

• 3–5 years of work experience within biomaterials
• Knowledge of quality management (ISO 13485)
• Previous experience in biomaterials or other medical technology
• Driver’s license
