About your job

In this position, you lead the communications efforts for our Sales & Marketing function – both globally and for our two European sales areas.

Within the scope of the job, you’re part of the respective management team and guide the organization on strategic communication aspects. Working closely with both the divisional Vice President and the respective sales area managers, you support the management team with both strategic and practical implementation – focusing on the strategic communication plan and to link global and local strategy.

The role also includes being an active participant in our global communication community. Using a wide range of communication channels, you create innovative, high-quality and well-timed content in your communication.

Your job also include:

• Developing and facilitating the strategic communication plan for the function.
• Ensuring easy-to-understand communication of Sandvik Cormorant’s objectives and strategy in close cooperation with the function's management.

• Coaching managers and other key stakeholders in leadership communication as required.
• Contributing to the development of global internal communication processes, tools, approaches and guidelines.

• Leading and supporting various communication activities at both global and local level.
• Supporting various change initiatives with communication expertise.
• Perform crisis management.

• Supporting and advising on intranet matters within the organization.
• Drafting, publishing and distributing internal communication.

This position allows for a flexible working location from any of our Sandvik Coromant European units.

Some travel is included in your job.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced communicator with a degree in communication or journalism, or equivalent skills and education.

You have extensive experience in a similar position and are used to working in a management team as well as in a global environment – in terms of cultural background and different professional groups.

Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Teams are key platforms for how we communicate and collaborate, and we consider experience in copywriting and storytelling a plus. As we’re a global organization, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

We’re sincerely interested in your personality! You have a strategic mindset while simultaneously being an operational doer who stays focused on delivering results in times of parallel assignments and deadlines.

Change management communication is a key success factor in this job, and you understand how to prioritize activities that create value and how to communicate effectively with different stakeholders to stay relevant.

You’re a self-starter with a collaborative and easy-going attitude and are curious to find new and smarter ways to communicate. You have an innovative mindset and enjoy learning new digital tools.
