We are looking for Function Safety Engineer who will work on E-mobility, Electronics and Software Development areas, such as Autonomous Drive, Power Electronics, Active Safety, Functional Safety, Cyber Security, Vehicle Mode Management, Infotainment Systems, and more.

You will be part of a global team of dynamic and innovative team that is preferred solution partner for the industry.

Your Responsibilities:

As our Functional Safety Engineer, you will work in various projects supporting our customers to develop safe products.

• Participating in activities such as Hazard and Risk Assessment (HARA), Functional Safety Concept, Technical Safety Concept, Product System Safety Plan/test Strategy (PRSP/T), Safety Case (SACA), identification and evaluation of functional insufficiency and triggering conditions

• Participating in functional safety confirmation reviews of the work products

• Establishing the coordination of functional safety projects in between different international EDAG offices and our customers.

• Sharing your expertise and learning from others in our growing functional safety team.

Our Requirements

• M.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or other relevant technical field of study

• Good understanding of robust and reliable system/software engineering, including design principles

• 3+ years of experience in Functional Safety

• Experience of working with EE and software development, preferably in the automotive industry

• Deep knowledge in functional safety standards, ISO 26262, and ISO 21448

• The ability to bring new perspectives and an eagerness to learn

• Knowledge in requirement management tools as SystemWeaver, IBM DOORS, Polarion and similar.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Swedish is meritorious.
