Job Description

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to be part of our Platform Applications Team which caters to diverse teams within the organization, spanning from those developing internal services to those targeting a global customer base of millions.

By providing tooling, software templates, and solutions we ensure that all teams can confidently build services to meet their unique requirements.

As a key player within the Platform Application area, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software templates, assets, and workflows incorporating best technology practices.

• Driving the standardization and reusability of code and components across the organization, aiming to decrease the cognitive load on developers.
• 
  
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the developer experience in the full software development lifecycle by identifying pain points, streamlining processes, and implementing innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps practices and Platform Engineering especially focusing on developing and maintaining efficient Software Development Lifecycle automation templates.

• 
  
• Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• 
  
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript or Dotnet.

• 
  
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• 
  
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.

  g., Azure, GCP)

• 
  
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM)
• 
  
• Experience with GitOps and canary deployments

Additional Information

This is a fulltime permanent position, starting as soon as possible according to the agreement.

The role is an on-site position, based in our office in Stockholm, Sweden.
